Album Notes
The Jug or Nots perform traditional American music from the 1920s-30s on period instruments including cigar box guitar, washboard, kazoo, and kitchen utensils!

Sounding sometimes like a squeaky bicycle and at others like a steam locomotive, this band is a genuine throwback to simpler times when folks made music on the front porch with anything they could get their hands on and electricity was a rarity.

Honored to headline the Sutter Creek International Jug Band Festival in 2011, the band is known for performing Depression-era rarities in their own rousing, crowd-pleasing style.

My family and I have seen this band perform a few times and I have always wondered why it is that so many people of all ages are dancing, while they play music from the 20's and 30's....It must be love!!!
This is a great band, and I recommend it to every body.
