Ilona Akimova is an independent artist musician, singer, songwriter and producer. After performing in various shows in Sochi and Moscow, Russia,gigging around Cyprus local clubs with the local rock'n'roll band, she recorded her first album in 1998. But the mixing of the recorded songs was suspended, since Ilona was busy with her new band. In 2004 she dismissed the band and started co-working on her new album Big City with her friend and producer Valera Paramonov at Vi-sound Studio, which the two started together earlier that year. Shortly the new band Juice Big City was born. Since releasing of the Big City album, they had recorded the three singles: What The Heck Still I Want You Here, 100 Days and One Two Three, shot videos for their songs: Big City, 100 Days and One Two Three. Ilona closed Juice Big City in 2011 because of voice issues, and, giving her voice time to recover, she got down to unfinished songs from her first album with her friend/producer Andrew Weed.
