On Walk the Worn Out Floor, Julie steps forward with something very spare, compelling and intimate. With songs ranging from jazz standards, to originals by Wolf, noted Seattle jazz musicians, and singer songwriters, Julie brings the simple beauty of her piano playing and singing to the foreground. She is joined by some friends here and there, who truly compliment the intimacy that she creates on her own in the opening tracks.
