ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
The music that appears on Junk Esquire's Fade to Black, is a mixture of guitar driven riffs with bluesy vocals and singer/songwriter styled ballads; respectively energetic and haunting.

The lyrics discuss topics ranging from girls, lost love, grandparents, the pressures of being original, to dealing with an un-approving parent of the girl you love.

The drums are driving, the guitar solos range from epic to delicate accompaniment, blues harmonica appears twice and acoustic guitar rounds off several tracks. Simply put, the musicianship is phenomenal.

Overall this album has something for everyone with a distinctive composing style that is simple yet powerful; music that hails to the rock of the 60's with a distinctly modern edge.

Aaron Spiers :: Vocals/Bass/Acoustic Guitar
Andrew Weir :: Electric Guitar
Lee Afentopoulos :: Drums
Rhys Wood :: Harmonica

Brilliant
I saw these Aussies at Bloomsbury Bowling Lanes this summer. They were fantastic!
