ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
So... One night at work, a (not-so) normal Cinemark employee, Justin Lydard, had the honor or taking down a cardboard promotional cutout for the hit movie, "The Roommate" starring Leighton Meester. While taking the giant cutout apart, Justin thought to himself "I've been single far too long, and I need a woman in my life." So he decided to keep what was left of the Leighton Meester cutout, and marry it.

A few days later, on a slow day at work, Justin was on the register, counting down the hours until he would get off. And a customer and a fellow employee thought he was rapping. And then again, Justin thought to himself "Maybe if I do make a little rap, time will go by a little faster."

So he did. On a paper towel, he began to write down lyrics that described the relationship between him and his wife. And it was slowly and surely turning into something great. By the time he had gotten off, he had a verse and the first chorus already down.

Jump forward a few months. The song is now all completed. Lyrics are all finished. Now what was next for Justin? He went out and bought a microphone, headphones, and got a home studio music program. And after around three weeks of putting everything together, he had mastered his first track... "Cardboard Baby"

Best. Song. Ever.
I can listen to this song over and over again. Very beautiful and very funny. I can totally feel the love that the artist has for his wife, and it is something out of this world. 11/10! Everyone buy this song! :)
