Album Notes
My biggest goal in life is to become a film composer. That's why this album is here. Not only am I hoping to "get my name out there" but even more so, my desire with this music is to give back to the many who have invested so much into my musical training over the past years and to bless the community with great quality music. This album will be having a follow-up feature album titled, "Between War And Death." Be sure to read my personal bio below as well.

Justin Schuoler is a graduate from the Master’s College, class of 2012, with a Bachelor’s in Music degree: Theory & Composition. Justin was born in 1990 and has been studying music his entire life, taking up piano lessons when he was only 4 years old in ’94. He later taught himself guitar, bass, violin, cello, string bass and percussion. In 2006, he had his biggest break into the composition field when his first solo piano piece was accredited by judges from the Music Teacher’s Association of California and the Certificate of Merit as a nationally renowned work. Since then, Justin’s primary focus has been composition. He has composed and mixed music for many films, including some of his own productions. He has also written for handbell ensembles, choirs, instrument ensembles, solo, duet and trio pieces, and electronic instrumentation. He has also conducted for handbells, instrumental ensembles, choirs, and orchestras. His biggest goal in music composition is to be a film scorer, but also enjoys writing for handbells, choirs, and orchestra.

His composition experience has brought him great achievements at such a young age. Justin received an honorable mention in a remix contest in September 2010, working with Underoath's hit single, Illuminator. His second film score for the award-winning movie, Once Upon A Time In Tampa (2011), received the highest internet vote, giving Justin his first film score award in November of 2011. His first publication came in December 2011 with his arrangement of Come Thou Fount for Handbells. Justin has also written music for weddings, student recitals, documentaries, video games, and major theater trailers.

Aside from composing, Justin has served as a worship leader for his home church, Sonrise Baptist Church, since March of 2011. He also highly enjoys teaching his piano students. When he is not working on music, Justin enjoys spending time with his family, boating, and watching NASCAR. Justin was born in Sylmar, CA and currently lives in Palmdale, CA.
