A joyous celebration of life itself!
From the jazzy (Hip-notic, Skooter's Song) to the more sedate (Song for the Sad Clown, Seasonal Change), this CD of a live performance of original compositions by Julia Walker Jewell is pleasing to the ear. In addition to her exceptional piano playing, Ms. Walker Jewell managed to pull together an amazing collection of talented musicians, each of whom gets a chance to shine. From the opening notes of Hip-notic to the closing strains of Brainstorm this CD will have you snapping your fingers, tapping your feet and smiling in appreciation of the originality of the composer and the gifts of the musicians. This one stays in my CD player and gets played constantly. It is a celebration of life itself. Enjoy!
