Pronounced camera, Kamera is a dynamic five-piece band based out of the Chicago and Northwest Indiana area, writing and performing all of they're own material. The sound is a unique blend of melodic rock with a slight progressiveness. Different from the mainstream rock, yet has a familiar sound in its own right.
On August 1, 2005, Kamera released their first full-length CD appropriately titled "X-POSURE". The fourteen tracks capture the unique style that defines the Kamera sound. Kamera has been hailed as "Underground-Heroes" by Rock-It Magazine. X-POSURE stands to put Kamera well above-ground.
Kamera formed by Greg Flores (lead vocals) and Vince Michaels (guitars and keyboards) has gained notoriety and popularity in Europe since 2002 with the release of two songs on German Radio and a four-song EP, produced by Jim Bartz (Survivor, BoDeans). Strutterzine Magazine (Netherlands) claims, "KAMERA is the latest AOR sensation from the USA... an instant winner for the AOR fans." Kamera has strengthened their song writing skills to create their latest outing and has set their sights on increasing their fan base in Europe while appealing to a broader audience locally and worldwide.
