Sitar virtuoso Kartik Seshadri is a world renowned force in the field of Indian classical music. HIs latest album Sublime Raga(s) was nominated by the prestigious Songlines Magazine U.K. as the Top Ten of the World Albums in its March 2012 edition further citing him as one of the "world's greatest sitar players." The Times of India noted in its 2011 review that Seshadri's concert for the SAPTAK festival (India) was a "show stopper" while the Lost Angeles Times has praised his music as "breathtaking." Mr. Seshadri tours the world with his music and frequently plays in major venues such as the Kennedy Center, Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, the Melbourne International Arts Festival to the Sawai Gandharva, ITC/SRA, Dover Lane, SAPTAK in India. He has furthermore collaborated with noted composer Philip Glass and is featured in his latest documentary as one of the world's leading sitarists and the foremost protege of Pandit Ravi Shankar.
