ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Katbite is a duo comprised of Jeroen van de Zeeuw (drums and percussion) and New Zealander Kat Leese, who sings and plays piano and guitar. This is singer/songwriter music with a bite. She bites back at the world, irritating people, the destruction of the world and other things that people want to kick back at. You can expect to encounter strong song-lines, complicated and sometimes impossible rhythms, but still get the urge to start dancing. Katbite has performed 250 gigs, including the Langweiligkeit Festival, Kaderock, Paard van Troje, Melkweg, Rotown, Atlantis and a tour of 20 gigs in New Zealand.

"Imaginary Things" is a lot different to the previous two Katbite albums. Three of the four songs are piano-based, and the overall sound is a lot more transparent

With each piece of work Katbite has dared to expand and grow, the mark of the extraordinary artist. The excellence of Imaginary Things makes this listener eagerly anticipate what Katbite will next create.
