Album Notes
CANDY EYED is an exciting new side project by Katy Rose. Remember her? She has been working hard in this business as an indie artist for 8 years. She wrote 2 songs for the movie, "Thirteen" and in 2004 she released a hit record, "Because i Can" ( who's top hit single, "Overdrive", was the theme song for the movie, "Mean Girls") She toured the world for 3 years ( as her records have been #1 in Japan, France, and South Africa)... and upon her return home to Los Angeles took some time to experiment in many other forms of music and creative expression. From 2005-2006 she wrote and recorded an avant garde/electro-grunge-pop album that she never thought anyone would hear. After making a sequel to "Because I Can" (more along the lines of her usual style of music) she thought it a shame to let all of those songs she wrote and recorded in the lost years to go to waste. So here is the answer... "CANDY EYED"... a fun and artistically inspiring way to pass the time.

She is a total artist XD.....

Chantal Premont

well I was completely in love with Katy's first album. I enjoyed its youthful angst accompanied by acoustic garage rock. Some were soulful and some powerful. This album, her second, definatley is different. I still enkoy the same Katy but on a different level. It has a very indyish sound to it. I like the lo-fi vibe. And once again is filled with beautiful poetry. The song aren't very long and the are pretty consistent. So no surprises. I cannot wait for her next album.

I don't find your second album
Hello Katy,
I wonder where is your second album on the CD baby website. I can only see the first one, Pan de Lonely with the 10 songs from Love is Suicide to Unprofessional.
I'm looking forward to listening to your second album. Can you help me finding it?
Thanks in advance XO
