A multi-instrumentalist, singer/song-writer, rock and roll adventurist, blues artist, and folklorist well versed in traditional and contemporary folk music and tradition, Keith Lovett is a musician whose sound echoes the likeness of such great artists as Bob Dylan, the Grateful Dead, Pete Seeger, Peter Rowan, Taj Mahal, Howlin' Wolf, and Muddy Waters... By studying and learning a variety of material Mr. Lovett is able to tap into the essence of these great artists. Keith Lovett blends a wide variety of folklore and sounds with his own original stories and melodic creations.​​

As a young man Keith Lovett was captivated by the poetry and ramblings of wandering, singing artists like Woody Guthrie and Carl Sandburg. They inspired him to leave his home in North Carolina and begin his own adventures on the road. Journeying across America and beyond, Keith Lovett used music as a means of transport, and spent time learning, recording, and performing with many great artists including Pete Seeger, Ollabelle, Larry Keel & Natural Bridge, Tim Obrien, Donna the Buffalo ,and many more. He has had the privilege of performing at various music festivals such as: The Great Blue Heron Music Festival, Watermelon Park Bluegrass Festival, and Winter Hawk, to name a few. He has also performed at numerous clubs and bars in cities like NYC, Asheville, NC, Washington D.C., Boulder, CO, and more. Keith Lovett has been active in creating music reflective of his musically diverse nature, and has recorded several records, which are just the beginning of many more to come.

Through his musical travels, Keith Lovett has mastered the ability to effortlessly flow through the genres in order to deliver a powerful and original performance that reaches the heart of his audience. He is able to captivate and transport his listeners into a great union of togetherness in order to share the commonality of sharing, adventure, love, heartbreak, happiness, and the blues. Keith Lovett creates naturalness through his harmonies, melodies, stories and rhythms and has the unique talent of keeping the art of storytelling alive through his own developed style and musicality.
