"Junestruck" is a collection of love songs, topical humor and nature ballads. The album follows in the singer-songwriter tradition, though many of the tracks have a "small band" feel. Under the larger umbrella of "folk" music, many musicals genres are represented here --- blues, rock, polka, country, even island rhythms.
Recorded and released in 1994, the digital program has been trimmed by 5 songs --- gone are "I Don't Know The Way Home", "Children Of The River" (now on the digital release of "Slow Ride", for which it was originally recorded), "Cheese", "This Is Paradise" and "It's Alright" --- and completely re-ordered.
Musicians involved in the sessions included Johnny Chiames / piano, Karen haynes / bass, Kenny Koeppler / drums, Tony Castaneda / congas, Randy Hoecheral / fiddle, Robbi Heighway / piano. Doug Brown / guitar and Maggie Delany-Potthoff / vocal appear on "Howling In The Hills".
