ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
I attended Washington High School where I performed in school plays and talent shows that was under the direction of Mr. Jim Brown and Mr.Gordon, after high school I attended the College of the Desert Community College in Palm Desert, Ca. where I studied theater and acting under director Terry Nicholson. After leaving Desert Community College I performed in a dance commercial for KMIR-TV in Palm Springs later I moved to Hollywood, Ca. where I appeared in the movie Brewster's Millions as a extra and the movie Body Rock as a featured extra and later on I was given under five lines in the movie Over Exposed on Cable TV. It was in Hollywood Ca. after a release party for the singing group the Deel, that singer songwriter, Baby Face Edmonds was in at that time, I ran in to them at the Holiday Inn at the bar, they were sitting down having a drink some of the members. So I walked over and introduced myself and ask them if they needed some songs and they told me that they write their own songs so, I asked them about the business and they were pretty nice to me and gave me their agent's number who happen to be Bootsy Collins Executive producer on his party on plastic album. After returning home to Milwaukee a few years later in 1987, me and two of my cousins formed the group Strong Young Butler and begin performing. It was then that I contacted the agent and ask him if he could send a talent scout to see us open for one of his artist who was Microwave at African World Festival who was on Warner Bros. A year later we opened for the recording artist Miles Jay. After that Strong Young Butler broke up and I began my solo career, 1996 was the year,I Got with P-Funk and began touring with the band only after being a stow away on the tour bus, after a show they did in Milwaukee, Wis, I'll get back to you about this story.
