ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
A beautiful and virtuosic jazz trio performance, highlighted by the creative and heartfelt songs, voice and piano of Kerry McCoy. Styles cover the gamut of the modern jazz genre, from the pop-infused A Million Roads to the mysterious, odd-metered Meet Me In My Dreams.

Kerry has played with Chris Botti, Ron Miles, Leroy Vinnegar, Nancy King, Ernie Watts, Sheena Easton, Nu Shooz, as well as appeared as a pianist and guest conductor with symphony orchestras.

Clips from reviews of a previous project:

McCoy has the chops of a young conservatory graduate and the feel of a seasoned jazz journeyman. He plays with authority, imagination, and an eminently musical touch---offering reassurance about the future of the great American art.

Robert L. Doershuk
(Keyboard Magazine)

A feeling for various sources from the jazz piano tradition artfully incorporated into a personal style. We have here a composer of merit as well as a pianist of substance. His is a talent that deserves exposure.

W. Royal Stokes
(Jazz Times)

There is a great future in modern jazz for this nimble-fingered pianist and composer .

Bob Keely
(San Francisco Chronicle)
