ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Distractions & Forgotten Songs is a collection of unreleased demos, live tracks, covers, and songs that didn't make the cut for any of Kevin Allred's previous albums. Some would call these 10 years worth of leftovers...but they weren't meant to be left over. Allred re-mixed them all at home and put them together as a completely new album. Enjoy!!

Please check out, Allred's Brave (Songs: 2005-2012), released this month as well!

Ridiculously Amazing!!!
I have been a fan of Kevin Allred's since I first heard his voice so many years ago, on his album Sick Today. He is not only an amazing singer, but he is hands down the best songwriter I have ever heard. This album is a fantastic addition to his work, along with his other newly released album Brave (Songs: 2005-2012). I can't stop listening to either one. Seriously if you like good music and amazing song lyrics you can't pass up any of this guy's work. A++++++

An emotional ride we all can relate to
This album is a very nice combination of music and voice. There are so many emotions in all of the songs on this album that real people can relate to. You feel the emotions of falling in love, losing a love, longing to be with the one you love, as well as appreciation for those that you may have taken for granted. Kevin puts a lot of emotion into his songs and it shows in the lyrics and how we can relate to each of the situations. The usually mellow guitar blends well with his voice and you can feel as if you are living through each of these songs yourself. The remakes of irreplaceable and runaway are quite nice as well. For anyone looking for something that they can relate to emotionally and have a good time listening to, I recommend this album.
