Smooth, sultry, and funky can best describe the vocal personae of songstress Rhythm. Her music combines a unique recipe of R&B and Pop, with a dash of alternative flavor that sets her apart from any other female artists.
Beginning her singing career at the tender age of eight, Rhythm was first exposed to music by her father who sang lead with a male group called the Soul Phonics. She found herself singing along, later being inspired by one of her all time favorites, Whitney Houston. Before she knew it she was performing and singing lead with her Christian school ensemble.
With her mom, as her foundation, Rhythm set her goals on a music career. She began to expand her vocal abilities as well as add to her list of favorite singers by musical greats such as Aretha Franklin, Chaka Khan, Michael Jackson, and Sade. The beautiful songstress uses her writing talent to write most of her own material and has a hand at producing and arranging as well.
