Album Notes
Kieran has spent many years furthering his personal musical goals. Years spent at study with the NZ school of music in wellington have prepared him for a singing career most could only dream of, having a background in opera and stage musicals from a young age of 6 and being tutored by prestigious music teacher Flora Edwards.
He also has a solid background in Drama with the NP Operatic society and other smaller drama groups such as the NP Little theatre, appearing in plays such as Bedroom Farce and Oliver as the Artful Dodger. Recently forming a band, to take advantage of a shared interest in taking their music that one step further, Kieran and Bassist Ryan Hill started the band P.I.C (Pluto's Identity Crisis) in August 2011 and have since played local music festivals such as Shedstock 2011 and appeared in Singer Songwriters guest spots at the Spiegel tent in July of 2011. Kieran looks forward to the imminent release of his solo acoustic EP in January 2012 and future appearances with the band throughout 2012. "Music is higher revelation than wisdom and philosophy ... Music is the mediator between spiritual and sensual life" — Ludwig van Beethoven
