ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Killer Gotti (Charles A. Harrison III) is a rapper from Upper 9th Ward New Orleans, Louisiana that has been rapping since 1998. He attended Eleanor McMain High School with Lil Wayne, Curren$y and Mack Maine of Young Money Cash Money Records. He began his career with a group that was signed to Platinum Status Records a subsidiary of a Gospel Record label; however, the group and record label eventually disbanded. From there Killer Gotti continued to refine his craft by producing various mix tapes and underground material for over 10 years which allowed him to develop his current feel and flow for music with lyrical rhymes. His diverse style, content and rhyme schemes cover various topics which include: the city of New Orleans, military life, poverty (urban life), becoming greater, pursuing excellence, everyday struggles and hustling. The album "Savage Life" was created over a 12 year period due to Killer Gotti being deployed to Iraq several times as a member of the U.S. Army. It is reported that Killer Gotti made this album in response to the current lack of change and diversity in the hip hop/rap genre today (everyone sounds the same). For this reason, "Savage Life" blends Hip Hop/Rap with elements of Blues/Jazz/R&B/Soul to create a sound that is unlike any other.
