Kim Hale is an extremely versatile vocalist/keyboardist/arranger/producer whose loves of Gospel, Soul, Jazz, Smooth Jazz and R&B laced with breath-taking string arrangements all come together in one artist to bring you sounds of soulful joy. Her musical influences include: Stevie Wonder, Michael McDonald, The Clark Sisters, Brian McKnight, Joe Sample, Aretha Franklin, Michael Omartian, Earth, Wind and Fire, Kenny Loggins, The Commodores, and Whitney Houston, just to name a few.
Kim grew up in a musical family from day one and studied and performed music since age 3. Her current Christmas album "Do You Hear What I Hear" is set to be released on Itunes Thanksgiving Day 2012, with a new full-length studio album to follow in 2013 entitled "Oh My Soul", an R&B/Old Soul laced Gospel Album featuring many new original songs as well as some of her well-loved covers paying tribute to artists that have influenced her over the years.
There is no age barrier in Kim's music. She has performed and continued to perform for young people as well as those more seasoned because of her ability to relate to all people in all settings with all tastes in music. She attributes this to seizing every opportunity to grow as a person and an artist in whatever setting she is placed in, as well as continuing to pour into young musicians as they find their feet in this ever-growing industry.
You can look forward to a huge variety of style and production in the near future.
Thank you for taking the time to support Kim's music. God Bless!
