ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
The Kinda Dixie Jazz Band has undergone quite a transformation over the years. Starting as a fairly standard Dixieland band, it has progressed into a very versatile and entertaining unit with a wide range of material. The most notable change has been the variety of four way vocals. In addition to the vocal prowess of this group, their musicianship is by far their most outstanding quality. The members of the band are first and foremost musicians, well trained and experienced professionals who have excelled in probably the most competitive music market there is today - Las Vegas, Nevada.
Entertainment reporter for the Las Vegas Review Journal, Mike Weatherford, put it most aptly when he penned these words, "When the music of Old New Orleans meets up with the spirit of Old Vegas, a lot of folks find the results, KINDA irresistible".
