Album Notes
KINDERJAZZ was 4 years old when this album was recorded and the music just doesn't stop.

Blues, Swing, Funk, Ballads, Congas, Shuffles, Latin, Country, Rap and even a snappy piece with 7 beats to the bar all about Cleopatra make up a hugely varied and stunning body of music titled TU-BABA-LUMA.

We are lucky enough to be immersed in talent....everyone has played their part, including our amazing engineer, Guy Dickerson!

As we recieve hundreds of letters from children all around the world, and kids bring their instruments to our concerts, we continue to see the difference quality music make to our lives.

Come and join us.....I don't know your name but I know if you are a parent you want your kids to have the best. You may not have the funds to send them to private schools or pay for music lessons BUT with KINDERJAZZ, they can be exposed to the same sounds as if they were living in a house full of professional musicians. All for the price of a CD. It doesn't get better than that.

KINDERJAZZ live in Sydney, Australia and have performed live for the last 10 years. We recently celebrated our 10th birthday at a pool complex in the City - in one word - AWESOME!

Artists include: George Washingmachine and Danielle Everett - vocals,
Alto Saxes: Glenn Henrich, Vanessa Patterson
Tenor Sax: Jason Morphett
Trumpets: Darryl Carthew, Alan Davey
Trombone: James Greening
Piano: Rodric White
Double Bass: Nicole Murray Prior
Drums/Percussion: Greg Johns
Congas/Latin Percussion: Aykho Akhrif

Brings live Big Band Music to Children
"Kinderjazz's newest CD "TU-BABA-LUMA" (the fourth no less) introduces it's excited young audiences to the rhythms and colours of Latin music while still remaining faithful to it's original goal of bringing live big band swing music to very young people.

How satisfying it must be to be involved in this fun filled music teaching and be part of the fast growing popularity that Kinderjazz enjoys!

The compositions are catchy, the arrangements colourful and the performance, as expected with these dedicated artists, first class.

The music of Kinderjazz's 'TU-BABA-LUMA' offers ample opportunity for tiny hands to join in on maracas, guiros and tambourines or just dance and move to the rhythms.

It's audience participation with quality live instrumental music."

John Speight, Artistic Director, Manly International Jazz Festival

When we got 'Tu-baba-Luma' we we weren't disappointed. It continued the KINDERJAZZ excellence. Our kids had friends over and we all started dancing straight away. There is something special about the sound and the many great musicians. To introduce my kids to Jason Morphett on Tenor Sax, James Greening on trombone and Al Davey on trumpet was a bonus. The world needs more adult-friendly kid's CDs....the ones parents can listen to over and over and over again. Julia T. Sydney.
