ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
In 1967, after ten glorious years, the "Original" Kingston Trio of Bob Shane, Nick Reynolds and John Stewart (who had replaced Dave Guard) retired. Just before doing so, however, they recorded this last album. To the 12 songs on the album we've added four songs from the Trio's SOMETHING ELSE album.

Eleven of the 16 songs on this album are penned by John Stewart, making this a fitting sendoff to start his illustrious career as one of America's premier singer-songwriters.
