ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes

On May 24 1999, King Tatie (Tatiana Chipondaminga) was born in the United Kingdom. She is the oldest of three - one boy, two girls - with her younger sister, Tyira, who is 6 years old, and her baby brother, Tyresse, who is 22 months old. King Tatie grew up with a strong desire to entertain, her talent being nurtured through years of training to improve her skills in Acting, Singing, Modeling, and Dancing.

As a baby, she seemed content listening to R&B music whenever she went to sleep. Her love for music was influenced by her father, who introduced her to R&B, Hip Hop, and Pop music before she was even born, playing loud music for her then pregnant mum.

King Tatie was trained by some of the best casting directors, actors/actresses, talent agents, and vocalists in the entertainment industry - for Acting, Singing, and Modeling - which involved travelling back and forth between England and the United States from the age of eight. In 2008, aged nine, David McKeown – talent agent and casting director for Shirley Grant Management – a Premier New York and Teaneck talent agent, known for discovering and kick starting the careers of the Jonas Brothers, wanted to sign on King Tatie, unaware that she was in New York on holiday from England, so she could not take the offer.

In 2010, King Tatie was the first and only child performer appointed to represent England in the United States Olympics of the World Championship of Performing Arts, a worldwide competition; King Tatie came out with seven medals, to include Gold for singing, acting, and modeling.

Following the same year, King Tatie won a writing competition, and as a result, her poem was published in a children's poem book.

She loves writing scripts for Film & TV, books, and fiction stories for all age groups.

King Tatie has had supporting and lead roles in local films, as well as drama and theater plays.

As a model, King Tatie developed her own signature catwalk at an early age, an almost reincarnated version of the “Naomi Campbell Signature Catwalk".

In January 2012, King Tatie's parents made a huge decision to move to the United States in support of her career, and she is now releasing her first single, 'This Is How We Do It' in December 2012. King Tatie is a singer, rapper, and songwriter who has written twenty-six songs, including her new single due for release.

This is only the beginning for King Tatie, who believes that, “For me, this is just the beginning. I followed my heart and chased my dreams. I want to show people - children, especially - that it does not matter your age, if you love something so much that your heart practically bleeds for it, then you should go for it, definitely. I'm aiming for the sky and beyond, and I will keep on continuing to do so. As I say all the time, the rightful king has come to take her throne. ”

Just watch the pace, and you will soon be bowing to this King.
