Something to play LOUD!!
Knowledge is for Fools has released their first album, and it takes heads off!! The music is hard rock skimming into punk and metal. The influences from both the punk and metal are heard loudly and clearly. Motorhead, The Ramones, the Dead Boys, and GG Allin, would all be watching over this band as they tear through 11 tracks of frenzied, beer fueled, take no prisoners, hard rock. From the jangly "It's Like Taking Candy (From a Baby, Baby), to the all out metal onslaught of The Forever Dead, this album delivers a punch to the face! There are 4 cover songs that are each spun in a direction that would make the original artists turn their stereos up to full volume. Also, listen for the track "Rollergirl". This song tells of the love at first sight experience while witnessing a female roller derby bout. The sound quality of the recording is very good. The material is to be played loud for full effect. The album opens and ends with surprises. This is a welcome change from all of the overproduced hard rock that has been dominating the market in the last few years.
