Album Notes
Jon Koonce is a 30 year veteran of recording and playing live shows.In 1982 his band Johnny and the Distractions recorded for A&M Records and toured nationally.As the opening act for bands;Tom Petty,J.Geils Band,Joan Jett,to name a few Jon started a multi-region base that remains to this day.Jon has been making independant cd's for the past decade or so,and still tours as a solo singer guitarist in the Folk tradition.

It Can Never Happen Here? Well, it did--BIG TIME
"It Can Never Happen Here" DID happen, well at least in my mind it did. This collection of Jon's work did the trick. I'm now a fan. I like the way this guy gets a message across. Mr. Koonce is someone with a big heart who uses all he has for good and you can feel it in his art. I'm glad that this album is being picked up acoss America and being given air time. I can't wait to hear what he comes up with next...
