Aduweiha (feat. Big Kev)

by Korus Flow

The Garifuna music displays many influences of its African heritage, and this is extremely evident when comparing this music with the indigenous music of the African societies from which their ancestors originated.

Album Notes
This is a new Garifuna song in Punta Rock, the rhythm is produced and recorded by Kevin Ramirez of Gx Teamm. The song is called "Aduweiha" which means "Owe" in english. The song is about my brother who "owes" me money.
Garifuna music relies heavily on the drums. Kevin Ramirez produced and recorded the Garifuna Drums, acoustic drums, congas, cowbells and used sounds from the keyboard to record the melodies to the song. This recording took place in the Bronx, New York.
