K Será will release their highly anticipated debut album "Collisions and Near Misses" on February 26th via Burning House Records. The album was produced and engineered by The Dear Hunter's Casey Crescenzo and mixed by Mike Watts. K Será will follow the release with a short tour leading them to SXSW as an official artist. The first single "Dream, Like I Do'" is available now.
Over the course of the bands five year existence, K Será's loyal fan base has watched the band transform from a solo project, based of out founding member Mike Caswell's bedroom closet, to a band widely know for it's signature theatrical sound and impeccable musicianship. The milestone of releasing their debut album was one the band and it's following had to wait for patiently. "Since K Será started years ago, it was always my goal to release an album like Collisions and Near Misses, but the stars never really aligned until now. Finally having the opportunity and being able to take it with Casey (Crescenzo) on our side, was everything we wanted it to be" Caswell commented.
"Collisions and Near Misses" shows how seamlessly K Será can move from one musical universe to the other. The cinematic highs are accompanied by atmospheric lows. A balance achieved usually achieved only by groups much further in their career. The diversity of sound is tied together by Caswell's personable, yet wide scoped lyrics. "The concept behind Collisions and Near Misses is the infinite possibilities that await us beyond every decision we make, no matter how big or small…I did my encompass that within the lyrics" explains Caswell.
