Sunset Ride

by Kitty Terry

This track was originally an instrumental by Chet Atkins. From the moment I (Kitty) heard it I heard the lyrics and melody. Greatest players featuring Mark Knopfler, Pat Bergeson,Paul Yandell, David Hungate. Chet Atkins was the greatest! My Hero!

Album Notes
What people don't know about me is I traveled around the world for 5 years with the Eric Clapton and Friends. I photographed and sand with Ronnie Lane and the Small Faces which opened up for Eric. I also sang when Yvonne became ill for a few nights. I've got to write the book we had amazing times. I've also sung and hung out with Stephen Stills in the 70's. I appear as Kitty Pritikin on Thorogood Pass. John Mellancamp was at Criteria when I was asked to sing when he was Johnny Cougar. I appear as Kitty. I really loved the 5 religeous albums sung with Dion. My soul just felt right after those sessions. These 20 years I married George Terry and made all of this music. Not without having to kick him in the but. He plays video games all day. My very special thanks go out to Rick Finch/Bass, from KC Sunshine Band, Jamie Oldaker, one of the best drummers and I love his heart dearly. I wish I could find Joey Murcia and the other guys but they were the best of the times and I am grateful to be around such energy. I am hoping to get up soon and I will write stories of the days of music and touring. All my music is from my soul. The world can take everything but my singing and that makes me OK. I hope to talk to all of you and make new friends. Be Very Well! Kitty Terry
