ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
The music was originally composed and recorded by Kuniko for soundtracks of a contemporary dance project choreographed by Megumi Nakamura.
The tracks on this CD are selected by Kuniko for her live performance Sound Space Experiment. The live performance Sound Space Experiment – Steel Drum Works vol. 01 was premiered on March 26th, 2009 at Asahi ArtSquare in Tokyo, Japan for 5 performances in 3days.
All pieces are performed with Industrial steel storage drums with various metal fabrications applied for exploring the possibilities of the steel drums and the wide range of sound dynamics.
It was released as a commemorative CD toward the world premiere of Sound Space Experiment on June 03, 2009.
