ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
New Orleans, Louisiana native Kynt, has set his sights on global domination! While at Father Flanagan's Boystown of New Orleans he attended NOCCA (New Orleans Center for Creative Arts) studying clarinet & voice and doubled as head band drum major at New Orleans legendary Walter L. Cohen Sr High School under the direction of Anthony Decuir. Kynt gained performance experience singing background for local jazz artist Davell Crawford and John Boutte. He also moonlighted as a dancer for rap artist Warren Maze and was the resident performer for the world famous Fat Black Pussycat Productions. Upon graduation, Kynt was awarded full scholarship from the University of New Orleans, Louisiana's Office of Child Support, Boystown of New Orleans, and PFLAG. Kynt continued his studies at the University of New Orleans but later found a permanent home at Loyola University of New Orleans. It was at this university where he graduated with a special double major in Communications and Dance.

The world first got a taste of Kynt in 1997 when bootleg copies of his demo “Day After Day” began to surface in clubs around the world. As a part of a free style recording session Kynt was approached by Josh Eustis (Tel Fon Tel Aviv/Hefty Records) about penning lyrics for an upbeat house track. From that session the critically acclaimed "Beyond The Sunshine" was born and solidified Kynt as songwriter and producer. In 2000, thanks largely in part to Mp3.com, Kynt signed several songs to Grammy award nominated and house music legend Roy Davis Jr's Underground Therapy Muzik. At the same time, Kynt gained international exposure through the internet which led to a slew of number one songs on various Mp3, DJ, & Club chart listings. Kynt later joined he New Orleans House Project, the brainchild of legend Djs John Larner aka DJ Cyberjive and Slater Hogan. New Orleans House Project featured remixes by Chicago DJ Skip.

In 2007, in a joint venture with MamaHouse – Brazil (noted for the #1 Billboard Dance Club Play hit "Altar ft. Jeanie Tracy - Party People" - a song originally recorded and written by Kynt), Kynt made an unforgettable impact with the massively successful hit singles "We Can Work This Out", "Makes Me Hot", and "Listen To The Music ft. Sheben", solidifying Kynt as a mainstream chart topping artist.

Kynt fuses an eclectic mix of silky smooth urban melodies littered with well-produced funky electric grooves and non-stop banging beats. His voice is impeccably luminous and rides easily along any style of music. Known exclusively as the “vocal assassin”, Kynt masterfully showcases his harmonious tenor falsetto vocals on a vast array of self produced dreamy, hypnotic, and catchy original songs. Kynt’s versatility and superb technique transcend genre placing him in a category all his own. On a larger scale, Kynt exemplifies the flamboyant finesse, mesmerizing persona, and grandiloquent charisma that cultivate all the makings for crossover mainstream success.

Kynt has had songs signed and released by labels throughout the USA and the world abroad. (Undaground Therapy Muzik –USA, Force Majeure- France, Phat Sand/Point Recordings – London, Groove X Records – London Parisonic Records –France , Counter Measure Entertainment – London, MamaHouse Records – Brazil, Masonic Music LTD – Germany, Umblu Recordings – Estonia, Big Star Records – London, EMI - Germany, Woobie Bear Music – USA, Moomba Recordings –Portugal)

Armed with a brilliant team of co-producers and remixers, a multifaceted and diverse international fan base, amiable comparisons to artists like Michael Jackson, Prince, and Madonna and a slew of infectious, original and innovative new songs ranging from Club/Dance, Pop/Hip Hop, R&B/ Soul, to Electronic and Jazz. Kynt remains ambitiously eager to usher in the new breed of artistic anomaly in which he uniquely represents.

“Never see yourself the way people see you." - Kynt

"Sounds like collaboration between Prince, Madonna and RuPaul ....featuring male vocals that could inspire crowds to Vogue. Strong club rhythms and layered lyrics about love and beauty."

“His name is KYNT and I was immediately fascinated by his striking face and stunning body - hey, I'm a homo! What do you expect? Anyway, I started listening to the tracks he's made available and was an instant fan. Reminiscent of RuPaul both visually and musically KYNT stands alone in style and a depth of remixes to fill any clubs coffers.”

“Kynt is one of the most our searched, streamed, downloaded, and requested recording artist’! He consistently delivers hit songs that remain in the top digital sales charts long after their initial release!”

"Kynt (New Orleans) Kynt is Musician, Lyricist, Producer, DJ, Dancer, Performer, Singer and perhaps the best Male Soul/Urban/R&B/ Dance artist I have heard in a very long while. With over 109,000 spins on MP3...I would say others are finding out about him as well. Currently #1 on Besonic's Soul/Urban/R&B USA & UK Charts." –http://www.soundwerkz.com

" This artist from the United States of America is brilliant at his work. Not only does he create good garage music, he is also a choreographer, a model and a vocalist, as heard on all his tracks. Garage music is getting very popular in the music industry, the perfect timing for a hard working artists as Kynt. His music in the hands of a major record label would be appreciated by clubbers, DJs and any individuals that enjoy Garage music. Most of the songs in his album "Introducing... Kynt!" could get to the top 10 in the UK's charts without a doubt."
