Album Notes
Lance has played with many local musicians and has enjoyed listening to many of the great bands of the Bay Area. Spending a number of years playing in a rock band with his buds, Lance gave up the band life and decided he would write his own music and lyrics, the life of a songwriter. Love, Life and Riley is a collection of songs that reflect getting up in the morning and going to work, love, food, crazy relationships and the daily grind of living. The music is playful, the lyrics are tongue and cheek and the mood is fun! If you like David Bowie, Billy Idol, Lou Reed Iggy Pop and Tom Waits , you may just get kick out this album.

Dig the tunes baby
I really like this album. I put this album on, closed my eyes and images of Bowie, Iggy, Lou Reed and even Jim Morrison filled my head. Watkins really delivers with this musical journey and allows us to groove in the most tasteful way. He reminds us that good music can and will move us! Watkin's guitar work is that of a true musician and the lyrics are soul felt and real. The world is his child, believe it.
