It was the late-great pianist and arranger George Gaffney who told Larkin she should make an album. She decided to make an album of obscure sexy jazz standards. A magical 100% synchronicity happened when someone gave her Producer Kenny Lyon's telephone number.

Kenny bought Larkin a tomato juice and the rest is history. They have been working together ever since. Larkin and Kenny also made an album with all original songs called "X-rated Musical"
