ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Late For Dinner's Unique blend of Reggae, Blues and Caribbean Jazz fuses into a White Hot blend called RastAmerican Blues. Formed in the Mid 80's by Reggae Guitarist Bruce Bonnello and Singer/Songwriter David Hamblen, the group owes its musical roots to the Legendary breakthrough Reggae Band Itsa Wah. The "LIve" recordings on this long anticipated album capture the heart and soul of some of the best Reggae music ever written and fuses it with Blues Harp and Sax into a high energy but easily listenable mix. Red, Red Wine, Bring me Your Cup and Could you Be Love were captured live at the Camino Wine Plaza's awesome outdoor music venue in Camino California.. War, No More Trouble, recorded live on stage at Lotus, Hocus Pocus studio resulted in a life changing heart attack for one of the members.. The remaining Tracks happened live at the Amador County Fairgrounds Blue Moon Music Festival on New Years eve 2011.

This CD includes two original works. Economic Refugee written by Bill Snyder is a gripping, timely social commentary on Economic conditions in modern America .... while Doors of Perception, written by David Hamblen and Late For Dinner members is an "Auldus Huxley" like piece written inspired by the beauty of the South Fork of the American River in Coloma California. Now Dance!
