Three more commonly studied Italian Songs are included in this album, two recorded for both medium high voice and medium low voice.
Vittoria, mio core! is very triumphant in its declaration of victory over love, and has a march-like quality. Danza, danza fanciulla gentile is sung in a couple of different tempi based on the vocalist; Laurie has chosen the faster tempo for this recording as it is her personal preference. Sebben crudele is a slower 18th Century torch song, providing contrast to the above.
Vocal students now have the opportunity to practice wherever they want, whenever they want with the accompaniment tracks provided by Laurie Klaus, a staff accompanist at Catawba College for over a decade. New volumes are in production; learn about them, get rehearsal tips, and see who's studying some of the tracks available at Laurie's website.
