Check this Out!
The “Star Spangled Banner” is sung by Lee Abramson with an electronic voice that is piercingly beautiful without any additional instrumental accompaniment. The sound is produced using an electronic adaptive technology, because he was diagnosed with Lou Gehrig’s disease in 2005, which left him unable to speak.

Star Spangled Banner Is Awesome!
A great album all around. Wildy Haskell puts it perfectly, "Lee Abramson continues to fight the good fight in a solo vocal performance of the Star Spangled Banner through vocoder. Afflicted with ALS, Abramson’s performance carries the glory of the American Dream, and the mighty will to survive that has marked America’s history. It quickly becomes a thinking man’s inspiration. (3.5/5)"

LOVED "Star Spangled Banner" A MUST-BUY!
I really enjoyed "Star Spangled Banner!" I found a review by blogger Heath Andrews that sums up your version perfectly!

"It’s impossible to separate Lee Abramson’s version of “The Star Spangled Banner” from his personal history. Having been diagnosed with ALS in 2005, Abramson went from being a bassist in his band to being wheelchair bound with very limited lung capacity, and the use of one finger. Now, the only singing Abramson is able to do is with the help of a computerized speech program; and that’s the sound we hear on his version of “The Star Spangled Banner.” Taken out of context, it’s just a computerized recitation of the anthem, but when taken alongside Abramson’s condition, it’s quite possibly the most heart-wrenching, courageous rendition you’ll ever have the privilege to hear. "

Great!
The swishy metallic noises of the opening moments set the stage for Lee’s computerized vocal sounds—the only person to compose music using ModelTalker. Lee’s ALS disease does not limit his inner drive to compose music. The traditional melody is here, but the electronic vocals give it a slight spacey and psychedelic feel.
