We're not sure if it's true, but every 5 seconds a new rock band is born.
Light illuminates. It breaks the silence.
Today, right now, as you read these lines, we would like to introduce ourselfs saying exactly the same. But it wouldn't be true. Because things are not always off or on. Not everything is black or white.
In fact, when the lights are turned off they leave a fleeting flash. A residual noise that the musical instruments also make.
What you see and what you hear then is the leftovers. The residues. What remains afterwards.
Our lights lit long ago, and we have spent many years breaking the silence.
We celebrate today that although we were in the air, we have never disappeared. We've kept illuminating... tenuously.
Because that's what we are and what our name reflects. We are the lights that didn't go out, and because of that they can be capture in a photograph. Like the note that still comes through on the recording.
We began to hear the noises from the crowd. Because we are about to illuminate again.
Good evening, -your city name-, we are the Leftover Lights.
