In the work of the most famous Folk Musician, Ethnomusicologist, Doctor of Art Critic, Professor Zemcovsky, it is said that the type of polyphonic music, which does not exist in Georgia, cannot be considered as polyphony. In the 2008 year work of professor Zemcovsky, the most famous folk musician, Ethnomusicologist, doctor of art critic, says: “if Georgia does not know any kind of polyphony as simultaneous, more or less distinguished (not necessarily acknowledged) sounding in the process of the “collective discovery of music” this does not mean that the given kind of joint singing can’t be qualified as polyphonic” Despite such great estimation, Georgia faces the problem- modified performance, which is the product of globalization.
