Album Notes
Lei Chen, guitarist in the Tang Dynasty Band, was born into a musical family. At the age of seven, he got into touch with music, deciding at age twelve that music was to be his destiny. Chen started his first band at the age of sixteen, New Outline, and then moved to Bejing in 1998 to improve his musical skills. At the end of 2000, he joined the first rock band in China - Tang Dynasty Band. In 2003, Chen recorded his first album, Love From Six, which showcases his terrific skills on electric guitar - speed picking, tapping, sweep picking, bar, mute, and skip picking. These skills have made people excited, amazed and inspired. The help and guidance from several famous musicians has made the record much better. Chen has become a hero in the hearts of many young guitarists, just like previous players such as Liu Yijun, Xie Si and Li Yanlang. He will certainly have his place in the history of the guitar in China.
