Lesley Kernochan's first album for families/children is here! "A Day in the Life of a Boogaleeboo" is a collection of 14 original songs, and a picture book, that take the listener on an educational, fun, open-hearted adventure. Some of the songs have that big band swing feel, some have a more sittin'-on-the-porch folky feel. You might find some rock n' roll and animal opera in there too. The picture book is painted and written by Lesley in honor of the musician in each and every one of us.
The musicians on the album, aka the Flying Foxes:
Lesley - vocals, guitar, piano, alto saxophone, and musical saw
Garrett Sayers - bass
Amy Shelley - drums
and a whole lot of talented guest musicians including Art Lande (piano), Jon Gray (trumpet, trombone), Steve Vidaic (organ, ukelele), Phil Norman (cello), Phil Parker (cello), Ryan Jalbert (guitars), John Stewart (clarinet), Enion Pelta-Tiller (violin), Greg Harris (vibraphone), Patricia Fagan-Miller (bassoon), Christina Jennings (flute), Elliot Reed (gypsy jazz guitar), and Lara Ruggles (pots, pans, zippers)
And then there's the magic makers behind the curtain:
Steve Vidaic - Co-producer, sound engineer, mixer (Immersive Recording Studio, Boulder CO)
Dominick Maita - masterer (Airshow Mastering, Boulder CO)
