Album Notes
Born in Vancouver, Canada, Liana Lam has performed throughout Canada, the United Sates, and Hong Kong. She has been a prize-winner of numerous competitions which include the Montreal Symphony Orchestra Competition, the Canadian Music Competitions, and the Chopin Competition in New York. In 1988, she was the youngest competitior and prize-winner at the William Kapell International Piano Competition. She has also represented Canada at the Harvey's Leeds International Competition, and the Chopin International Competition in Warsaw.

She is a graduate of the Juilliard School where she received her Bachelor and Master of Music Degrees. She also has a Doctorate Degree in Piano Performance from State University of New York at Stony Brook. Dr. Lam was formerly a full-time Professor of Piano at Memorial University in Canada.
