ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Lianna Klassen is an award winning, Canadian Christian Celtic/world influenced artist, based out of Montreal, Quebec. A Juno Nominee and CGMA award winner, Lianna has released 6 albums.

She has a skill in gathering sounds and styles from around the world and forging them together into something that is memorable, radiant and inspiring. Lianna has had opportunity to minister around the world and is known as one who portrays deep truth and emotion through her music. She has a heartfelt desire to see the church rise up to their full potential in creative worship. A few years ago, God brought her into more of an awareness of the many wonderful and diverse sounds and drumbeats that He has created for His glory in the nations. She began to incorporate this diversity into her writing and musical style. Her last 5 recordings are a direct result of this vision with their World influenced overtones. Her "Song For Canada" has become a treasured prayer for thousands across Canada.

Lianna’s mandate is to celebrate diversity in worship and declare unity and freedom wherever she goes. Her music encourages listeners to “step out of the boat” and lay hold of their true potential and the destiny God has for them. This message not only touches the individual but is Lianna’s heartfelt call to the nations. She believes every nation has a God given call and that through prayer, this full potential can be realized!

Her latest recording, “The Guest” is a combination of Celtic hymns, meditations and chants, inspired by early Celtic Christian writings and Lianna’s own experience in intercession.

Lianna lives in Old Montreal, Quebec with her husband.

Hi Lianna,

It\'s been a very long time...you may not even remember me. :-) Wanted you to know that I had a very quiet day at home today and decided to play your \"love In The Ruins\" CD...I actually played it 3 times. You ministered to my heart today in a huge way...it was a worship experience for me. Then I decided to pull you up on the Web and listened to portions of \"The Guest Album.\"
Again, felt drawn to my Creator. I have always loved Celtic music and your sensitivity to the Spirit of God through your music is heartwarming.
Ed and I now live in California...remember Kelowna days and you will remember us.

Thanks for sharing your music to bless others and draw them to our Abba Father. Carol B
