Album Notes
The Masque is a rock symphony based on eight of the works of Edgar Allan Poe. As the framework for this piece we have used Poe’s Masque of the Red Death. Imagine a castle with a central ballroom and seven surrounding rooms. Each of these rooms represents another story or poem by Poe and is encompassed within our concept of his Red Death. Now imagine these rooms filled with revelry as the world outside sinks into chaos. This is the world Poe created for us and this is the world in which our symphony comes to life.

Light would like to thank Tom Cardinal for his uncanny performance of our muse, Edgar Allen Poe, and the life that he adds to our live performance of The Masque. We would also like to thank the Shadowbox Live and Backstage Bistro staff members for their help producing and supporting our live showcase as well as continually generating talent and opportunities to work with Light. Most importantly, we want to thank our Fans and Patrons for all of their support - we couldn't do it without you. Please enjoy The Masque!
