Album Notes
Born in Texas, James "Lil Six" Daniels has lived in Fayetteville North Carolina all his life. Raised by his Mother after his father ran out. Growing up, the South rapper originally wanted to be a heavyweight boxer and the best rapper and show stopper that he can be in life, but eventually fell back on rapping. Huck from Hucks Entertainment Record Label had taken it upon himselve to release one Best of Li Six mix CDs call 211 Soundclick, before he had even signed to a major indie label. Li Six hit the scene with "Six On A Bean" and he's been on a rampage ever since dealing with bootleggers, label back stabbing and other platinum selling artists trying to get at him physically. In 2009 his album 211 Soundclick , was heavily bootlegged and Trackmasters/ML never released it. Supposedly, Trackmasters weren't comfortable with him being caught up in the streets and before filming his first video ," (with ML Family) -- his first single. Li Six,That event led to the fall out with his label and negotiating his release from their grasps. He still showed love and rhymed over a 211 production and a remix of his own latest album, but at Hucks Entertainment you can be yourself, Li Six was cut from the track with Mrs.Fox which could have launched the rapper. This all changed in one night when Huck said on a radio show that "Li Six is definitely my favorite rapper right now, he's the only one keeping it real." The very next day a bidding war started on Li Six, ending when Li Six signed to Hucks Entertainment very own label in Fayetteville North Carolina. Li Six fame has exploded, being produced by Huck and finally making his debut album '211 Soundclick." Li Six has full access and advantage of the streets through mix-tapes; that's his forum because he controls it. Li Six is the most anticipated artist of 2011. It's well deserved because he's "been patiently waiting."
