ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Liquid Mind V: Serenity is a peaceful and soothing musical journey, designed to help you relax deeply, during meditation, massage, yoga, rest, or in times of stress, and is a wonderful background for massage, meditation, healing, yoga, pilates, reiki, shiatsu, tai chi or reflexology.

The tranquil flow of the music, and the absence of regular rhythm allows the listener to experience a level of relaxation not achievable by more active music. The fifth in Liquid Mind's elegant electronic series of slow relaxation music albums takes the listener to a place of deep calm and tranquility. This gentle album is used by parents to help quiet hyperactive children, to assist themselves in going back to sleep in the middle of a difficult night, and to relieve the stress of a busy day at a computer terminal.

From the artist:
I originally wrote the music of Liquid Mind to help myself and my friends and family dealing with the anxiety & stress of working long hours and many jobs to support their families, and also for friends and family dealing with the stress of life-threatening illnesses like cancer & HIV. The Liquid Mind albums seem to have an immediate "slowing down" effect on the listener, and may also help people get to sleep, and calm down after a tension-filled day. The ultimate compliment to me is that people fall asleep or deeply relax to my music. This is functional music, it serves the purpose of assisting us to be tranquil, when that may not be easy in today's world. That is why the compositions are longer than normal, and very slow in tempo. This music is very special to me, it is my labor of love, I hope you enjoy it.

From the label:
The excellent production values on the Liquid Mind albums reflect Chuck Wild's extensive experience working with many world-class artists, as songwriter, synthesist, composer, and arranger. Wild was first known for his work as synthesist & keyboard player in the 80's Capitol records artists "Missing Persons", and more recently as a songwriter (over 80 songs recorded since 1988 for film, TV, and albums, including "You're My One and Only", #1hit in Europe for Jennifer Rush), as co-composer of Max Headroom (Emmy-winning series), and as studio sound designer for Michael Jackson and many others.

When Wild started releasing the Liquid Mind albums in 1994, the first persons to use them were alternative healthcare practitioners, chiropractors and massage therapists, followed soon by more mainstream medical practitioners, who report utilizing the music in clinical situations to assist in relaxation. Since the Liquid Mind albums became more widely distributed in 1995, they have all become favorites of those who use music for
relaxation, meditation, and stress relief.

Liquid Mind
Just as the title suggests, the music is fluid * supremely soothing. This is one of the best of the relaxation CD's I've found. Especially good for deep relaxation (Yoga Nidra) in teaching Yoga. Along with Wah's Savasana 1 & 2 CD's,
Liquid Mind gives you the best I've found in relaxation music.

The Hand Of God
As a Massage Therapist/muscian and composer I am always looking fo something new and fresh that can touch deep within our heart and soul. I also agree with reviewer Jill Maksym. You can feel the presence of God in the music. My clients will love this album.

Sooo relaxing! my mind totally gave up its tension and gave over to the composit
First, the ordering and delivery receive an A+ great. Most delightful was the announcement email!! So glad to know that all the good town folks cheered on as my cd was being taken to the post office on my behalf. LOL fun!

Secondly, listening to the cd is in keeping with my expectations: a soothing, relaxing, and pleasant way to turn tension into liquid mind-think. AHHHHhhh.

Finally, blessings to ALL involved: composer, recording studio, marketing, and mailing staffs.

Very best regards,
Maggie

Wonderfully mind calming
This is wonderfully relaxing music due to the very slow tempo. I play it while giving Reiki, it is by far my favourite of all my relaxation cd's.

Another classic from Chuck Wild
Liquid Mind (Chuck Wild) has produced yet another sublime album, which I have to say, is his finest yet. All the tracks, as per usual, are capable of inducing a deep meditative state which my partner uses with her massage therapy treatment. The rich bass tones seem to sooth and massage in there own right.
Keep 'em coming Chuck!
