ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Following the release of her Time Signatures debut disc, award winning vocalist Lisa McClowry caps off 2011 by issuing an EP of snow-covered songs that act as a holiday postscript to her previous recording.   Do You Hear What I Hear sheds new light on a Christmas classic now with a fresh jazzy and innovative time signature and arrangement.  It Wouldn't Feel Like Christmas written by Lisa, her producer Jim Peterik and Jami Jamison, is a bittersweet ode to a loved one as the holiday approaches. The final track is a future classic co-written by members of the iconic British group Acoustic Alchemy and Jim Peterik.   Brand New Hallelujah combines the jubilation of the season with the realities of those who are starving in the land of plenty.  It is about turning a new page and raising a Brand New Hallelujah. Lisa's vocal is at once joyous and urgent.  The performances on this CD will be around for many years to come!

Beautiful and Classic!
Wow, Lisa's voice is so beautiful. She has the type of voice that could sing any kind of song and always sounds amazing. I love her version of "Do you hear what I hear". I also love the new Christmas song "It wouldn't feel like Christmas". I heard "Brand new Hallelujah" for the first time ever on her album and now I love it. This is the best Christmas album I have heard since Bing Crosby. I highly recommend it.

DO YOU HEAR WHAT I HEAR?
Thanks to Lisa, Jim, Jami and Acoustic Alchemy for giving us an early Christmas present. Lisa's voice is like a snowdrop. It is gentle, clear, and as perfect as the human voice can get. When I need to gather my thoughts around the true meaning of Christmas, I will play Lisa's album. They make great stocking stuffers.

Do You Hear What I Hear....Just in Time for Christmas
Now is the time of year when it starts to get nippy and when the dates on your calendar are frighteningly closer than they appear---December 25th is right around the corner. So when you're cold and stressed, put on Lisa's Holiday CD and you're guaranteed to get a warm, relaxed feeling. Whether you're snuggling with a loved one by the fire or sitting solo, writing cards or wrapping gifts, the music and her voice will put you in the right frame of mind for the next few weeks. Listening to Lisa is a gift you can give yourself and feel good about it.
