Album Notes
Little City Fires first got together in March 2007, with guitarist Dave Benton, drummer Ben Smith, and keyboardist Dan Sohval. They practiced under the moniker of "The Seabots." Soon, guitarist Justin Leider joined the band, and Dan switched to bass guitar. This foursome was the first to play under the name "Little City Fires." Their first real rehearsal consisted of random combustions and a swirling mess of sonic goodness. A little later, Andrew Wade joined as official drummer, and Smith became the lead vocalist. The summer led to more shows, songwriting, and recording, eventually resulting in the completion of their first CD release.
Alkis Meimaris officially joined the band in November of 2008, and now plays guitar and bass. You can often find Little City Fires playing at clubs, backyards and basements in and around the tri-state area. Copies of their CDs are always available at their shows and sometimes homemade band t-shirts. Little City Fires sincerely hopes you enjoy their music.
The Little City Fires - EP was recorded at Yum Yum Basement Studios in September of 2008. The artwork was designed by Colin Alexander. The CD is a half hour bombardment of fuzzed out guitars, and heavy drumming. We suggest you buy it, rock out, and party on dudes!

A Listener

Pretty Good
Heard this band on myspace. I didn't buy the album but based on what I've heard the first half of it is pretty great. My favorite song would probably be "Hey Michael"
