Album Notes
"hotbox music" is lo cell's 5th release on whoop-t-whoop entertainment...the follow up to "the glorious bastard", this album continues with the unique sounds of lo cell's production and those of label partners, term and junebug...after relocating from los angeles to chicago in the past year, his lyrics reflect how he has adapted to the midwest lifestyle, from his carson-california mindstate in songs such as "feelsoreal" which features babydown of brownzville and "go ill"...blaze one, from the southwest click and patchwerks recordings in atlanta, also a transplant from los angeles, appears on the gritty "don't slip"...new sensation on the vocals, joanne cameos on tracks "change the game", "all i need", and "do you want the real thang?"...but the most innovative track on the album may be "sampled rhymes", with scratches from master abel...all masterfully orchestrated together to produce an underground classic...its a must have for true hip hop fans! so do just like the title says, pick up the album, sitback with your peoples, and hotbox to it! its hotbox music...ooooohhhhhhwwwwaaaahhhhh!
