Album Notes
Lori began her music project in October 2006 as a predominately online recording artist. Lori’s music is steeped with the moody influences of Delerium, Depeche Mode, and other Synth and Electronica greats from the 80s. Her singles received immediate praise for pristine, seamless vocals and complex writing, winning several awards on Ourstage.com, including many first place wins! In November 2008, Lori released her debut album “Unseen” with Strophic Records. Featuring Lori’s pure, silky vocals bedded in atmospheric electronica music, “Unseen” evokes self-reflection, the pain of loss and regret, and the joy and healing of discovering your true purpose. Lori was awarded two "Artist of the Year" awards by Radio Mystic Soundscapes with songs from this album.

Because Lori’s talent intertwined so profoundly with the genius of UK artist Adam Amos, one of the brilliant contributors to “Unseen”, they immediately formed the duo Serenthiam. After a hiatus for the pregnancy and birth of her fourth child, Lori resumed her work with Adam Amos and they released a provisional EP in the summer of 2011. And in January 2012, Serenthiam released their first, powerful, full-length album, “A Different Time & Place”. Serenthiam’s breathtaking cinematic, trip-hop music has also won several awards on Ourstage.com. Visit their website HERE at serenthiam.com.

Lori has been flattered by the demand for studio vocal work since the instant she released her first single, and has worked with several amazing artists, but then wasn’t fully able to fully discover her own voice and songwriting. She currently accepts few collaborations, concentrating on writing solo material and working with Adam Amos on future Serenthiam projects.

As an ultimate do-it-yourselfer, and admitted control freak, Lori sets out to prove that an independent artist on a very limited budget can produce a great product and be successful. And though she’s actively involved with her family, church, and school, she has her hand in every aspect her music. If it's not done exclusively by Lori, she works closely with all involved to make her vision a reality.

She has also released an EP featuring a remastered version and two remixes of the single "Silver Threads", plus a bonus B-Side track.
