Album Notes
My name is Lucas Osborne and I am a singer-songwriter from Murfreesboro and Nashville, Tennessee. I've grown up in Music City and lived in it or relatively close to it for all my life. I fell in love with music during my teenage years in which I came to realize that music is more than just simple entertainment or a way to cut lose. Music is an art, a form of ultimate expression in which an individual can bare themselves or their feelings to others and undoubtedly communicate a message or sensation to all who listen. It is the only method I know that can intensify and encapsulate a moment in its entirety. It is the only art I know that can truly touch and save a wide range of individuals no matter their differences. It can bring people together; it can bring peace. If I were to classify myself as a musician I would say that I am a guitarist, I also know my way around the mandolin and can play piano and bass well enough to not embarrass myself. After picking up the guitar at the ripe age of 16, I trained myself in theory and technique in order to perhaps shred like Paige and compose like Mozart. After high school, I auditioned for Middle Tennessee State University's guitar program and happily was accepted, and received substantial instruction in theory at the university. While music is not the major I am essentially pursuing in my studies, I continue to take classes on the subject. Now, when it comes to the style or genre I would classify myself as a part of, I would say that the music I write is definitely commercial and falls within the category of pop. I would say that I'm influenced by many commercial artists, such as John Mayor, Dave Matthews Band, The Goo Goo Dolls, U2, The Black Keys, Jack White, and Coldplay to name a few, and also many known non-commercial such as Radiohead. "Sounds of Solace" the album currently available is definitely a combination of the former. Thanks so much for reading and enjoy the music!!!

Great Sound & Unique Lyrics
Love this sound - great lyrics. Enjoyed the cover song Sounds of Solace and another favorite is Forgotten. But I believe that Talk Slow and Wanderer will skyrocket this young kid to stardom!
If this is the beginning I can't wait for the next album. Looking forward to it.
